Abstract | |||
We are currently performing a Pilot Study including 120 subjects in 4 clinical centers to evaluate the feasibility in conducting a full scale study. This is a multidisciplinary population-based study designed to clarify the etiology of gallbladder cancer and to help explain why Chile has the highest reported gallbladder cancer rates in the world. If succesfull, the full scale case-control study will involve 12 clinical centers in Chile in order to recruit 4000 gallbladder cancer cases and 4000 controls for epidemiologic investigation. " |
